An overview of Videotelling – a highly communicative approach to the most relevant medium in learners’ lives.

An exploration of the most common grammar structures and language patterns that emerge when we put video narratives into words.

Videotelling Workshop

Participants choose a short video and prepare to tell its story. After practicing in small groups, some will have the opportunity to share their story in plenary and receive feedback from the trainer.

Taking Video Apart

Finally, we will explore the multimodal nature of video and how it can be used to create engaging, interactive and communicative classroom activities. We will also examine how story structure, visual literacy and critical thinking can help students interpret and respond to what they see.
