Meet the Speakers
New Horizons ELT Yerevan 2026 brings together experienced educators, teacher trainers, and ELT specialists who will share practical insights, teaching strategies, and innovative approaches to language education.

Maria Sologub is an experienced English teacher and teacher trainer with a full Cambridge DELTA qualification. She is the creator of a professional development course focused on teacher confidence and anxiety management. Maria regularly speaks at ELT conferences, sharing practical insights on emotional intelligence, teacher wellbeing, and effective classroom communication.

Evgenia Kiseleva is a Cambridge-certified teacher trainer with over 23 years of teaching experience across different age groups and proficiency levels. She holds DELTA, IH CAM, and IH CYLT qualifications. Her teaching philosophy focuses on creating supportive learning environments where students can express themselves freely and develop both linguistically and personally through creativity and meaningful communication.

Elena Kovalenskaya is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Linguistics and Professional Communication in Political Sciences at Moscow State Linguistic University. With over 22 years of teaching experience, she specializes in grammar instruction and methodological development. Elena holds CELTA and TKT qualifications and is an active participant and speaker at international linguistic and teaching conferences.

Alevtina Popova is a third-generation language teacher, school CEO and co-founder, language coach, TEDx speaker, and author. With 25 years of teaching experience, she focuses on innovative and engaging approaches to language learning. Her work explores how digital culture and modern communication tools can enhance language comprehension and student engagement.

Dmitrii Zhurukov is a language educator and founder of standUP Language School. His work focuses on communicative teaching approaches and the practical use of artificial intelligence in language learning. Dmitrii explores how modern technology can support teachers in lesson planning, activity creation, and effective classroom interaction.

Anastasia Romanova is a Cambridge-certified English teacher with DELTA (Modules 2 and 3), ICELT, IH CAM, IH Teaching Individuals, YL Extension to CELTA, and CELTA qualifications. She has an IELTS Academic score of 8.5 and over eight years of experience preparing students for IELTS and TOEFL exams. Anastasia has helped many students gain admission to universities in the USA, the UK, New Zealand, and across Europe, including recipients of full scholarships. She specializes in supporting students in managing both the linguistic and psychological challenges of high-stakes exams.
Together, these speakers will contribute to a dynamic program focused on methodology, innovation in ELT, and professional development for English language teachers.
